Registered Massage Therapist
Certified Pilates Instructor
Wellness Coach

Susan graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, Kitchener, Ontario in 2011 and from the Fitness and Health Promotion Program at Fanshawe College, London, Ontario in 2001. She received her certification in Stott and Physical Mind Institute Pilates, and finds it complementary to massage therapy.

"As a massage therapist, my focus is to provide a customized treatment which gives the relief needed. Once we address the root of the problem then my goal is to collaboratively work with you to develop a maintenance plan which allows you to keep doing the activities you love without the recurrence of pain."

Susan also has her full certification as a Pilates Instructor through Physical Mind Institute and Stott Pilates. She has the ability to use the Pilates rehabilitation equipment and to treat Postural dysfunctions. Pilates helps to restore strength to your muscles, starting with your deep intrinsic ones (e.g. pelvic floor), working towards your superficial ones (e.g. abs). This process helps to keep your ailment stable and strong for years to come.

During school, Susan had the opportunity to volunteer with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Hospice Wellington, Trinity Village Care Centre, Grand River Regional Cancer Centre and Sunnyside Wellness Centre. She received a specialization in Long Term Care conditions. Susan also had the opportunity of volunteering with various high school sports tournaments and the Canadian Ringette Championships 2011, treating and preventing injuries during the game.

Susan's treatments consist of a combination of Swedish, Trigger Point Release, Deep Tissue, Joint Mobilization and Hydrotherapy. Her approach is gradual, working through the soft tissue within the client’s tolerance. Susan notices this approach has great results through finding any dysfunctions.

Susan has experience with Whiplash, Pregnancy massage, low back pain, Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis, Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Frozen Shoulder, Postural Deformities, Impingement Syndromes, Stress- related disorders, Tendinitis, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Sport injuries.

Susan is a Breast Cancer Survivor and her goal is to help other people through their transition through this disease.

As a runner and dancer, she understands the mental and physical demands needed to prevent injuries and still perform to your best abilities.

Her other interests include yoga, photography, skiing and spending time with her family.
